FAIRYTALE

FAIRYTALE
Originally uploaded by Life Happens
My daughter wanted to wear her flowergirl dress yesterday (for a wedding-but not as THE flowergirl) and we took a few minutes to get a picture of her with her Little Red Riding Hood cape for halloween. SHe actually let me take pictures for a whole 2 minutes!

Thanks to my mother in law for the amazing sewing on both projects!

Shaw and Sowden Wedding

Seeing a family come together in love is one of the most wonderful things in the world. Shawndel and Jeff's marriage was one of those moments. Will, Georgia, and Elliot joined them in making this marriage more than just joining 2 people, but in creating a family. They were married under a 2 hundred year old oak tree, celebrating with family and friends from around the world.

It was a fantastic party and a night to remember. Here are just a few sneek peeks! More to come soon!

Christen and John had a fantastic wedding. There were dancing grandfathers and grandsons, friends and family all gathered to help them celebrate their new life together. (Can you tell that I love weddings?)

As always, my favorite pictures are those of the newly married couple. We took a few minutes to escape from the party and catch the perfect sunset. Nothing compares to the look in the eyes of a couple that is truly in love.

Dana Stone has invited you to join the US Army Wives team at Kiva

This is something that I've dreamed of doing for a long time and I'd love to see others take part in this!

I want to recruit you to my lending team on Kiva, a non-profit website that allows you to lend as little as $25 to a specific low-income entrepreneur in the developing world. You choose who to lend to - whether a baker in Afghanistan, a goat herder in Uganda, a farmer in Peru, a restaurateur in Cambodia, or a tailor in Iraq - and as they repay the loan, you get your money back.

If you join my lending team, we can work together to alleviate poverty. Once you're a part of the team, you can choose to have a future loan on Kiva "count" towards our team's impact. The loan is still yours, and repayments still come to you - but you can also choose to have the loan show up in our team's collective portfolio, so our team's overall impact will grow!

Check out the US Army Wives lending team, and learn more about lending teams on Kiva in general, by clicking here: http://www.kiva.org/community/viewTeam?team_id=2034&_isc=576569be-ed2a-102b-9b86-b71337deb4ea.

Thanks,
Dana Stone

Stealing the show.

This little guy captured my heart and nearly stole the show! He is the ringbearer for a wedding tomorrow and I snapped this at the dress rehearsal. It's a good thing that Christen and John are so wonderfully happy and in love....otherwise this little guy might be hard to resist!
